ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sydney based, multi-disciplinary artist, Kaitlin Allanah, has been honing her skills in printmaking for the past several years. With a background in fashion design, Kaitlin went on to study a Bachelor of Fine Arts as a means of combining her passion for art and design.

Kaitlin’s work explores the female experience through various themes including sexuality, family, womens' work and societal expectation. Printmaking allowed her to explore these themes further by extending her range of her skills and challenge the boundaries of what is considered art and fashion.

Kaitlin has sold her fine artwork to collectors across Australia as well as the United States, and exhibited her works in various exhibitions, including the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras "Queer Contemporary" arts program.
